Grave danger
The love that hushes the fair rebuke,
The spirituality that silences the necessary guidance,
The conscience that does not share its impressions and achievements,
The soul that does not offer what it already has in itself…
Constitute:
A love that degenerated into stubborn selfishness,
A spirituality that strayed from the line of duty,
A conscience corrupted by personal convenience,
A soul that has taken the route of distancing itself from its Origin and Purpose: GOD.
Beware of the appearances of smiling and/or silent sanctity, of complicitous and irresponsible camaraderie, of solicitude and dedication that are adjusted according to people’s liking, and not to the authentic service of the good that can be rendered to them.
Let us remember JESUS alluding so severely to the hypocrisies of those who commit themselves to appearing virtuous in the eyes of men and women, instead of seeking what the Divine Will desires of every creature: solely the integrity to be consistent with their own principles, even though inevitably and often they affect interests and conveniences of their own and the ego of others.
