The Spiritual Guide Eugênia-Aspásia, at the sunrise of this Saturday, asked me for special concentration, because of the depth and breadth of the subject to be approached, giving me, then, the impressive and sublime Message that had been transmitted to her, a few hours earlier, by the Maternal Angel of our planet, with a special tone of gravity, in very appropriate consonance with the psycho sphere of recollection and contrition suggested by the Paschal season.
The sweet and wise Spiritual Mentor told me that the Grandiose Mother Figure appeared to her in the form of a cyclopean sphere of Sunlight, surrounded by others, smaller in size, as if they were helping Her in the mystical and relevant Communication, originally done, of course, in a telepathic way, which was translated by Her Emissary, as much as possible, into our poor human language.
Without conscience married to intelligence, there is only one route: decadence, in partnership with dementia.
To act with heart, with empathy, with the spirit of fraternity, of respect for the feelings of others, is not an option — it is the only alternative to escape from the path of psychopathy, of perversion, of evilness, of the abyss of madness and misery, in their most extensive and devastating connotation, not necessarily in the short term, but inevitably in the medium and long terms, individually and collectively.
Good cognition does not exist without moral filters. Artificial intelligence reproduces several human mental processes, some in an expanded way. Animals have, besides the instincts, rudiments of emotions, which resemble a person’s basic behaviors. Only the human being, however, has the sieve of evaluation, the ethical perspective when acting, the power to see values, to attribute meanings to events, to intuit purposes for one’s existence, to discern good from evil, in their highly complex hues and intertwinement, in every circumstance lived.
None of these characteristic, which reveal the supreme essence of the best in the human being, can be engendered on the basis of logical reasoning alone, of immediate calculation of personal interest, of usefulness for mere material survival or of unchecked passion for triumph, in the web of social relationships.
Human beings are also contradictory, conflicting, tortured, in their long process of transition, with infinite gradations, between animality and angelic heights. It is essential, however, to see above the shadows — sometimes dense — of limitations and failures, in the scope of personality and even of the character. It is vital that, in order to have joy, motivation and hope, in the midst of the chaos of the contemporaneity, we find and experience a reason to live, that we discover the Light of Something More, beyond the “me” or “mine.”
There is only one way out of the existential anguishes that trouble the creatures, in the quest for this Something More, beyond physical subsistence: transcendence! And there is no transcendence without decency, commitment, enlightenment of one’s own soul, with the flame of an ideal of service to the common good, of a vocation of doing good that reaches the other side of the narrow fence of egocentrism and its devastating outcomes — of tribal and predatory nature — which start with the egoism of the biological family, passing by the pride of professional or academic caste and by the unbridled greed of large economic corporations, until they reach delusions of larger proportions, which foment wars and atrocities on a global scale, century after century: nationalism and ethnocentrism, whether of a linguistic, geographical, racial or cultural nature.
Either earthly communities overcome this obsolete and dangerous paradigm of operational thinking of immediate survival, this way of seeing the world so narrow, sick, schizoid and inhuman, or intelligence and civilization will take routes even more teratological than the aberrations already seen today, resulting in economic and social genocide combined with the collapse of the planetary ecosystem — two devouring demons that, in the absence of an urgent change of direction of the species, will make the invaluable and ancient human project on Earth collapse.
