A genuine Gift from Heaven inevitably presents elevated – and at times overwhelming – levels of depth and ambivalence. Hence, there is nothing to be surprised about in the melancholy that alternates with the joy of faith. This dichotomous experience makes up and concretizes the Christic definition that the authentic disciple of Truth “is in the world without being of the world”, living complementary poles of the Vital Flow of a same Undivided Reality.
See how much fathers and mothers suffer for their children. And yet, how could this suffering invalidate the indescribable happiness and fulfillment involved in parenting?
Thus, embrace life in its entirety, and what seems contradictory will naturally reveal itself in its totality of meaning, purpose and essence – the Life in abundance that Jesus, in His Gospels, promised to grant to all who truly seek It.
