When the soul is confused, it is time to activate the spirit. In other words: when the emotional is in turmoil, it is time for reason and conscience to act assertively.
Do not allow yourself to be intoxicated by the allurements of immediacy or personal and shallow interest of any kind, such as living for the sake of accumulating material goods or chasing opportunities to enjoy a few extra physical pleasures.
Be who you really are. Reveal to yourself daily what characterizes you as immortal: your spiritual essence. And work on it, systematically and uninterruptedly, investing in your ideals, your feelings, your humanitarian principles and purposes, your most cherished relationships (including family) and, finally, your connection with God.
If you walk this path well, you will become stronger and stronger and, ultimately, imperturbable in the face of any adversity in your life.
