Sublime art

Whenever you feel tired or sad, angry or discouraged, irritated or jealous, excited or euphoric, redouble your attention – what Our Lord Jesus called “vigilance.”

It is precisely in these moments of heightened desires, emotions and passions that the floodgates of the psyche are most vulnerable to assaults by the forces of darkness, of disintegration, of evil.

Having faith, patience, hope and good cheer when all is well is expectable, reasonable and natural. Understand, then, that the time of greater pain is also the time of greater opportunity to generate and develop values for the eternal spirit.

Do you want greater spiritual power? Endure greater trials, adversities and inner needs with gallantry, productivity and optimism. By making your crisis a source of creativity and renewal, you will achieve mastery in the sublime art of transcendence.
