The Words of Jesus, in their modern version, must be read and assimilated in depth, in the form of external attitude and inner transformation, without the disciples constraining their nature and vocation, which is so commonly and sacrilegiously done in the Name of the Messiah of Love.
There is not much more to be said today but lived. We need not think much but love! Excessive intellectuality, without its counterpart of feeling and beneficent action, is a dangerous vice, which leads the incautious souls that take pleasure in it to the most abysmal paths of their happiness.
Intelligence and knowledge necessarily need to be applied to the common good, or they will fatally result in great harm for the self-centered individuals themselves and, in varying degrees, for other creatures within their radius of personal influence.”
