When despair and impossibility seem to besiege your soul

How wonderful it is when human beings set plausible, sustainable goals that are simultaneously in
consonance with what they perceive to be their duty, in the conceptual chapter of the non-negotiable
minimum!

Divine Providence always helps us to carry out what we know is our responsibility. We are never short of supplies of strength and inspiration to travel the paths of His-Her Will.

Raise the eyes of your soul to the sky dotted with stars and distant worlds, without allowing yourself to be haunted by the darkness of the night that has fallen over the panoramas and horizons of your perceptions, of what you consider as your world, the scenario of reality in which you feel inserted, of which you understand yourself to be a part.

The most difficult hours or days will pass and soon there will be a new dawn…

Be vigilant, however, so that you do not give in to the temptation of despair, in the metaphorical
stillness of the early hours of a psychologically bad time, and end up surrendering to the voracious
wolves and venomous snakes that lurk around you and of which it is vital to beware, in the dark stretches of your existential journey.

Seek safe shelter when you realize you can no longer walk without stumbling. And keep your guard up
so that the place where you have chosen to take refuge remains continually closed off from predators or poisonous reptiles.

Do not make decisions in the heat of panic or hopelessness. Tranquilize yourself in the sacred refuge of prayer, of meditation, of trust in God’s unrestricted benevolence and wait for the Sun of Divine Help to rise on the next day with possibilities, stimuli and guidance on the good to be done for yourself, your loved ones and the communities in which you have been placed to serve and be useful.

Human beings can take the path of hope in any circumstances, while the luminous clarity of faith is not present.

The decision to acclimate to the good or submit to the evil, regardless of the complexity of a problem or crisis faced, is an exclusively intimate one, since the reasons for persevering in the best or the justifications for giving up, in the direction of the worst, will always spark in the individual’s psyche, as a matter of automatic focus, attunement and consciousness.

Religion vs. spirituality

The greatest challenge

Being happy – is the greatest challenge of faith, the main karma of the spiritual being, the utmost duty, purpose and meaning of human existence.

However, to be happy, a creature needs to listen to its own conscience, follow its own ideal, fulfill its own vocation.

Without spirituality, fraternal love and service to the common good, there is no path of light that does not descend into a path of darkness.

With solidarity, a teleological spirit¹ and, above all, connection with the Designs of God, by deeply listening to the voice of one’s own soul, everything is possible, and plenitude becomes, step by step, a constant, an achievement, a destiny!…

1. The spiritual author wanted to say that we should always seek a useful end in every circumstance in life, transforming everything into a reason for learning and growth.

Focus, decision, opportunity and danger in a potentially apocalyptic age

What is the central purpose of your activities and functions, in all departments of your existence?

To what ends should you give the primacy of your attention?

These are the issues in which human beings should especially exercise attentiveness, to avoid more serious errors and favor greater successes, in terms of extension and quality.

There are days when needs or urgencies seem to obscure and even block the filter of priorities, leading to a dangerous loss of the sense of the proportions of meaning and importance of events, passions and values.

On these more delicate occasions, when the soul becomes fragile to the infiltration of evil, it is even more necessary to maintain the effort of paying attention to what really is relevant to observe, in order to take care of it with the utmost zeal, because, as the Christ-Verb Jesus taught, "only one Thing matters"¹.

Often, in particularly critical situations, there is more fertile ground for serving the Common Good – which is the most direct way for a human being to relate to Divinity. It is worth remembering the words of the apostle John: "Love is God"².

The lenses of perception often present flaws in focus, distorting the reading of the fractions of reality within their reach. Noticing that one has inadequate perceptions of the world and of oneself is one of the main and primary assets of what is now called, on the physical plane, metacognition or, in more vernacular language, self-critical lucidity.

The assumption-illusion of seeing, with objectivity and certainty, any aspect of a given circumstance, clearly shows that the individual is not being very intelligent and mature, in the rational as well as in the psychological and moral sense, when they elaborate concepts about what surrounds them, from prosaic events to major occurrences, including their perspective of evaluation regarding their brothers and sisters in humanity and themselves.

May the disciples of the Light strive to experience, as continuously as possible, an intimate state of responsibility for serving the good of their fellow human beings, and they will progressively place themselves in communion with the Community of Holy Spirits of God, receiving from Them guidance and support on how best to proceed in the various areas of their life.

This potentially apocalyptic time marks the end of a civilizational cycle and the start of a correlated new era for earthly humanity. Making the most of this unique window of opportunity, however, depends on the free and interwoven decisions of people and groups of all orders and dimensions.
